It was more about doing something unusual and getting himself into the limelight...Aussies have been known for such decisions...but this time it was not that reasonable...they wanted to pick 1-2 early wickets in last 3 overs which anyways was very difficult...On the other hand, considering the point that it is going to be a low scoring match, 20-25 runs from last wicket could have made some difference.

becoz last 2 3 overs of day r always difficult to bat ... and australia tryin to get some wickets :P

Clearly Aussies think its a 3-day match, given the pace in the wicket
