A breathless opening day to the first Ashes Test at Trent Bridge saw Australia reach 75 for 4 at stumps on Wednesday, trailing England by 140 runs.

It was an eventful first day of the Ashes where Peter Siddle once again proved bowling with lot of heart will fetch you the wickets in one way or the other. The wicket was a bowler’s paradise and everybody chipped in with a wicket or two even England bowlers had Australia on the mat before Steve Smith somehow held his end at the end of day’s play.
