Omar Abdullah disappointed with BCCI for ignoring Parvez Rasool in ODI series
CRICKET: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, lashed out at the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), for not letting Parvez Rasool play in any of the five ODI matches of the Celkon Mobile Cup 2013 in Zimbabwe.
"Did you really have to take him all the way to Zimbabwe to demoralize him? Wouldn’t it have been cheaper to just do it at home?" Omar said via his official twitter handle, after his state-mate Parvez Rasool was not selected for the playing XI in the fifth ODI, which was a dead rubber from India’s perspective.
Abdullah, a keen follower of Cricket, had requested BCCI for Rasool’s inclusion for the fifth ODI.
"Come on BCCI give the young man (Rasool) a chance to prove himself," the Indian had tweeted here on Friday.
"Really disappointed that Parvez Rasool hasn’t been given a game in Zimbabwe," Abdullah further added in disappointment.
Rasool is the only member of the 15-member squad for the tour, who didn’t get even a single game to showcase his skills. In the final rubber, Ajinkya Rahane was brought in for Ambati Rayudu, while Shikhar Dhawan replaced Rohit Sharma.
Rasool was selected for the first time, after an impressive performance at the Ranji Trophy last year, where he scored 594 runs and grabbed 34 odd wickets.

I agree with this.. India's rotation policy is questionable at the moment.
