Barclays Premier League 13-14: Champions?
Talk to a BPL enthusiast (including a Arsenal or Liverpool fan) and ask them who’ll win the league this year. 98% of the times, their answer will be: Manchester United or Manchester City or Chelsea. Some say that BPL is moving from the "Big 4" era to the "Bigger 3" era, but is it really true? Is it right to discard Arsenal, Liverpool or even Spurs as possible champions? I, for one, would not do that.
Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement has brought David Moyes to the helm at Manchester United. They play Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City in the opening month, which will answer a lot of the questions everyone has been asking about how United will fare this season. I feel that United will add a quality player (probably Fellaini) before the end of the transfer window and whoever happens to finish above them by the end of the season will be champions. It breaks my heart to say this but yes, without Ferguson, Manchester United don’t look like sure shot Champions this year.
The return of Jose Mourinho, the ‘special one’, to Stamford Bridge has prompted many to make Chelsea favourites for the title. Jose does have a special touch, but some of his "friends" are older than they were when he was last in charge of them.
Manuel Pelligrini comes to Manchester City with no EPL experience behind him, but with a great pedigree and a super squad (including a very expensive bench) that he has already added to during the European summer. He knows about managing a big club and the expectation it brings after his time at Real Madrid and should not be discounted.
Arsenal and Spurs can’t be taken lightly (Liverpool can be). Arsenal need a big signing to show that they are still one of the big guns, while if Spurs can keep Gareth Bale then they, with their host of new signings, just might be a great outside bet.
Who’ll come out on top? The best will. But then the best = Manchester United. Haha!

It depends actually. He might make a big leap altogether or small steps. Lets see.
As a Liverpool fan, I'd say that Chelsea do have a strong squad and are quite competitive...as far as UTD goes, they do have a good squad..but then its Moyes..would take some time to adapt.
