Boas It Is !!!

Tottenham Hotspurs completed the signing of French midfielder Etienne Capoue last week. Considering his transfer fee was £9 million, the French midfielder looks yet another great addition to the Totenham squad under manager Andre Villas-Boas. Addition like Nacer Chadli, Paulinho and Roberto Soldado have already made Tottenham a good squad to challenge for the honors this season.

Andre Villas Boas always had a great eye for players. During his days at Porto AVB had signed James Rodriguez, Nicolas Otamendi, Walter and Joao Moutinho, a heavy duty list of talent. At Chelsea, AVB was around long enough to snap up promising players like Thibaut Courtois, Romelu Lukaku and maybe most importantly Juan Mata.

What differentiates him from the rest is his scouting ability in bringing the best players across the globe. He worked as a scout under Jose Mourinho when the Special one was in charge of matters at Porto. Later on he went on to manage Porto and became one of the most sought after managers in Europe after his successful spell at Porto. Comparisons with Jose Mourinho were imminent and it was no surprise when he moved to Chelsea. However his failure of handling the senior players in the squad led to his departure. He was eyeing way to ahead in the future by building his team with the young players and neglecting the senior players.

However now at Tottenham he has worked on his mistakes that he had previously committed at Chelsea. He had worked well with the senior players in the squad .But at the same time he has brought some of the finest young players from Europe making them quite a balanced squad. Also Garth Bales meteoric rise was seen under him. Hopefully he will earn back his lost credibility which was severely dented during his time at the Stamford Bridge.
