ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE: FANTASY TEAM 2013-2014

ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE: FANTASY TEAM 2013-2014

Premier league is set to enter into its tenth week of games and we have seen some close matches and brilliant performances. Based on the player performances, I have come up with a fantasy team which is expected to do best in upcoming fixtures in terms of total points in the Fantasy League.

GOALKEEPER:
Hugo Lloris (Tottenham):A thoroughly modern goalkeeper, his play illustrates the evolution of the modern Tottenham.Lloris’s excellence at reading the game has long been recognized – his extraordinary anticipation was one of the primary attributes that inspired his £13m capture from Lyon last season

STRIKERS:
Sergio Aguero (Manchester City):said to be among the top five strikers in Premier League,Sergio is having a season of his lifetime. Aguero continues to be the club’s lucky charm of the city side - City have never lost when he scored, and this season he has pulled out a blitzkrieg as he has scored nine in nine starts.

Olivier Giroud (Arsenal): Giroud has emerged as Arsenal’s scoring machine and has been seen in a brilliant form this season.Striker Giroud has already played 16 games and Arsenal can barely afford to think about resting him, despite their gruelling fixture list.

Daniel Sturridge (Liverpool): Daniel Sturridge is quickly becoming one of the most dangerous strikers in the Premier League. He scored the most ridiculous chip shot of the Premier League season against west Brom in 4-1 victory over West Brom.

MIDFIELDERS:
David Silva (Manchester City): Spanish play maker is running in a brilliant form and his stunning performance in a 3-1 victory against West Ham speaks volumes In many ways,he is comparable to Ozil and has excellent statistics to prove his worth to be in the side. After all,Sergio Aguero may have given Manuel Pellegrini’s men their killing spirit with some ruthless finishing but it has been Silva who has been pulling off the strings behind him

Mesut Ozil   (Arsenal) :German Ozil has already scored two goals and provided three assists in only five Premier League games for the Gunners. Ozil is not only the king of the assists, but a goalscorer too and his display of sheer speed and precision has terrified opponents of his presence.

Oscar (Chelsea):Any player who displaces Juan Mata from the starting line-up and then goes on to deliver performances is someone you need in your team. The Brazilian has been favoured due to his hard work without the ball as much as his creativity with it, and he could play a crucial role at Stamford Bridge clash with Manchester City.Being an inseperable part of Chelsea midfield he has got enough experience to create scoring opportunities for front liners.

DEFENDERS:
Philip Jagiekla   (Everton):Who can foregt Jagielka’s stunning performance in Everton’s 2-1 win against Hull. No heroics like Chelsea’s David Luiz, just a rock-solid performance. A real Mr Dependable.England man Jagielka has been Everton’s best passer this season, completing 381.

Dejan Lovren (Southampton) :Signed from Olympique Lyonnais in the summer, the Croatian defender has played every minute of the Premier League so far. With one goal to his name—the solitary strike in the impressive 1-0 win away to Liverpool—and one assist, these stats are nothing out of the ordinary.

Branislav Ivanovic (Chelsea): Ivanovic is an inseperable member of Chelsea and that is quite evident with the faith Maurinho has showed in his presence .Ivanovic played a key role in Chelsea’s win against Steaua. He headed a second-half winner as Chelsea escaped from an average performance against Aston Villa.

Rio Ferdinad (Manchester United):Ria has been a hallmark of Man United defence since a long time and has been able to surpass Moyes expectations too.
