Ranji Trophy: Haryana v/s Mumbai
Sachin Tendulkar scored a gritty unbeaten half-century to keep Mumbai’s in contention for an outright win in their Ranji Trophy match against a spirited Haryana today at Lahli.
Featuring in his last domestic game’s innings, Tendulkar battled hard to remain unbeaten on 55 at stumps on the third day, with Mumbai needing another 39 runs to win with four wickets in hand. The Little Master has hit four hits to the fence having faced 122 balls.
The 40-time defending champions were 201 for six at close of day, with Dhawal Kulkarni giving Sachin Tendulkar company on six.
Earlier in the day, resuming at 224 for nine, Haryana were bowled out for 241, thereby setting Mumbai a target of 240 runs.
