Champions League Match day 4 action continues with some mouth watering fixtures lined up for tonight. Match Day 3 of group stage action resumes in group E, F, G and H.

The Big Match: Borussia Dortmund v/s Arsenal

Arsenal face a daunting task when they travel to Borussia Dortmund in tonight’s biggest fixture with both the teams knowing very well that a win today will play a significant role in knowing who survives the Group of Death (Group F) of this season’s Champions League. In the other encounter of Group F is between Olympic Marseille will be looking for its first points in this season’s Champions League but they have to travel to Naples to negotiate past a dangerous Napoli side. Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund and Napoli are all tied at six points each and no team can ill afford to drop any point tonight.

In Group E, Chelsea stumbled to a 2-0 reverse at Newcastle United on Saturday but remain in a strong position in Europe, having taken themselves top of their pool with a 3-0 success against Schalke away last time out. Chelsea surprisingly lost their last home game against FC Basel and hence they cannot be complacent. In the other match of Group E, Romanian champions Steaua Bucharest are away to FC Basel and they need to win tonight to have any chances of qualifying for the knockout stage.

In Group G, having defeated Austria Vienna 3-0 on home soil last time out, group leaders Atletico know that a second win against the same opponents would guarantee their progress into the next round. FC Porto travels to Zenit St. Petersburg knowing very well that another defeat against Zenit will be a big blow to their chances of qualifying from the group.

In Group H, Barcelona welcome their perennial rivals AC Milan in the Champions League on Wednesday having drawn the previous group stage encounter with AC Milan. The other game is between Ajax Amsterdam and Celtic and a second win for Celtic against Ajax would put pressure AC Milan.
