SL all ready after a washout
Sri Lanka are all ready for the next encounter after last match was abandoned due to rain. Although Sri Lanka’s captain Angelo Mathews was not very pleased with his side performance and in his post match conference he seemed a bit disappointed with his batting performance. If reports are to be believed he is planning to give Ashan Priyanjan, Kusal Perera and fast bowler Suranga Lakmal a chance. New Zealand captain Kyle Mills, on the other hand seemed confident and backed his team that they would have chased the target if rain wouldn’t have interrupted the match. Although they are missing their top three batsman but their batsman seemed confident after a comfortable win against Bangladesh. Both captain Kyle Mills and opener Tom Latham feel Malinga a threat for them but feel defence will be their priority against the lethal bowler. SL will play NZ at Hambantota, Sri Lanka today.
