First T20 match abandoned due to rain

The first Twenty20 International match between Sri Lanka and New Zealand at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium was abandoned due to rain. After waiting for few hours, Umpires finally decided to call off the match. Rain interfered in the ODI series and fans were expecting some cricketing action tonight. First match of two T20 match series is abandoned. The second match is going to be played at the same venue on Thu, 21 Nov.
