Sri Lanka wins series 1-0

Sri Lanka won the final T20 match and wins series 1-0 after first match was cancelled due to rain. Earlier New Zealand won the toss and decided to bat first setting a target of 143 for the hosts. Luke Ronchi was the highest scorer with a score of 34. On the other hand Sri Lanka easily achieved the target with 13 balls left, thanks to some hard hit by Kusall Perera and T. Dilshan. Kushal Perera scored a 57 off 37 deliveries and ensured Sri Lanka’s win and was awarded the man of the match. With this final match New Zealand tour of Sri Lanka gets over.
