Sachin’s knock of 136 V PAKISTAN is considered as his all time favorite century. India needed 271 runs in last innings with two days left. India lost the match by 12 runs but his innings is still considered as his one of the best knocks ever.

3. 146 V SOUTH AFRICA, CAPE TOWN, 2011

Sachin 146 vs South Africa - Cape Town 2011 have won the cricinfo award for the BEST TEST INNINGS in 2011 too. South Africa posted a score of 362 in first innings and sachin scored a ton. This ton was also his last test ton overseas.

4. 103* V ENGLAND, CHENNAI, 2008

This ton was special as it was a fourth-innings century in an Indian win. India were left to chase 387 on a spinning pitch with Panesar and Swann on opposite side. Although an explosive start was provided by Sehwag and a good innings by Yuvraj, it was Sachin’s ton that sealed a victory for India.
