Breaking News: Andre Villas-Boas sacked by Tottenham Hotspur

Andre Villas-Boas adventure with Tottenham Hotspur came to an end today as he has been relieved of his duties following yesterday’s 5-0 defeat at home at the hands of Liverpool. He thus became the second manager to be sacked by a Premier League club this week following Steve Clarke’s ouster from West Bromwich Albion.

Tottenham have struggled this season even though they had invested more than 100 million dollars and last night’s defeat was a new low for the club. They have also been defeated 6-0 earlier in the season by Manchester City. Tottenham are currently in the 7th position in the Premier League, eight points behind leaders Arsenal.
