Will it be a 5-0 whitewash this Ashes???

Will it be a 5-0 whitewash this Ashes???

Having already put the Ashes series to bed, and having conquered the urn, the Aussies, led by Michael Clarke, seem to be on a mission, to complete a whitewash this time, something they last managed to inflict over England seven years back, in their own backyard. Michael Clarke has already made his intentions clear, ahead of the Boxing Day Test, saying that the Aussies are targeting a clean sweep, and will approach this game too in a "full-throttle" manner.
So will England be able to put up a resistance, and salvage a win or two, out of the remainder of the series, is the question! The good news for them is Broad is fit once again, after the Mitchell Johnson yorker which had caused a foot injury. However they seriously need their star batsman in Kevin Pieterson to fire, who has been the chief contributor in the batting department to England’s Ashes success in the recent years. Having struck only 165 runs in 6 innings this time round, a lot more is expected of him, if England are to get close.
As a true die-hard cricket fan am really hopeful of an English fightback in this series, but for that the likes of the top 4, Cook, Carberry, Root and Pieterson must fire all cylinders, to give tehri bowlers, Broads and the Andersons something to defend. Also the replacement of Monty Panesar on for the retired Graeme Swann, could be interesting, and something different.

My Prediction for this series 4-0. Share yours too.
