Aussies on their way to supremacy in world cricket?

After looking at the current position it is evident that Aussies on their way to supremacy in world cricket. With a thrashing 4-0 Ashes win over England with last match still to go, they are proving their dominance.

Only months after losing the Ashes series in England to go nine Tests in a row without a victory Australia now stands on the verge of history.Critics blamed the staff, coach, manager and obviously the players for their defeat. But they surely found a way to shut them up. Be it the pace of Johnson or the consistency of David Warner, spin art of Nathan Lyon or captaincy of Michael Clark, Aussies are not in a mood to stop right now.

Earlier former captain Michael Vaughan has claimed the current England team is better than rivals Australia in every department, tipping Alastair Cook’s men to win the Ashes this series at home. Vaughan said this isn’t arrogant in any way but England is better than Australia in all areas, adding he thinks they’ve got a better top six, a better bowling unit, better spinners.
But Aussies proved him wrong in every sense be it bowling, batting or fielding.

It reminds of the same Australian Team when legends like Shane Warne, Glenn Mcgrath and Steve Waugh played for the team. A young, energetic team shows no sign of stopping. While some batsman like George Bailey is yet to fire but one way or other he is contributing for the team. Rest 10 players seems to be in their best form right now. Although they are yet to gain their Number 1 spot in Test matches but still they have showed the world why Australians were at Number 1 position for so many years.
If they will continue their form, they will surely prove their supremacy again in world cricket. With ODI world due in 2015, it seems Aussies have begun their preparations.

After comprehensive eight-wicket victory over England in Melbourne, focus now turns to final Test in Sydney starting on 3 January, 2014. "We’re going to have a go, that’s for sure," Clarke said once Australia won the fourth Test at the MCG by eight wickets with a day and a half to spare earlier today after he was asked will Aussies go for a 5-0 whitewash.
