Australian Open: Li Na clinches the Women's Title by outclassing Cibulkova
It was third time lucky for China’s Li Na, who defeated Dominika Cibulkova to win the Australian Open 2014 women’s singles title. Li Na emerged the victor in straight sets, 7-6(3) 6-0, in one hour and 37 minutes and thus in the process won her second career grand slam.
Meanwhile, in the Men’s Doubles, Lukasz Kubot of Poland and Robert Lindstedt of Sweden won the title defeating Eric Butorac of the United States and Raven Klaasen of South Africa in straight sets, 6-3 6-3.
The two-week long event comes to conclusion tomorrow.
