Do IPL need Pakistan Players?

IPL or the Indian Premier League, is the most exciting 20-over tournament in the world. But since the terrorist attacks on Mumbai, IPL has been missing players from Pakistan.

The discussion here is whether IPL need players from Pakistan or not. The answer is easy, Yes, there should be involvement of every cricketer who is capable of and has the talent, because IPL is such a platform which brings you in front of the whole world in just a matter of days. Be it from Pakistan or any other country, every talented cricketer should play IPL.

There were players from Pakistan who have earlier featured in IPL and played exceptionally well for their respective franchisees. Sohail Tanveer, Mohammad Hafeez, Salman Butt are such examples. Plus the main motto of every team owner is that they want their team to win and they earn profits via their team’s success and Pakistan’s cricketers have the capability to make their team/franchisee win. Pakistani stars would also bring huge glamour with them which will benefit the teams, their owners, the IPL management and eventually BCCI too. It would also help in improving the relation between the two nations.

We have read news few days back where Hafeez, Pakistan’s T-20 Captain stating that Pakistani players lack IPL experience. Further, we also know how talented Pakistan’s cricketers are, Ajmal, Gul, Irfan, Hafeez, Akmal Brothers, Junaid are some examples of the same. Plus who else can forget Shahid Afridi? , the man who recently lead Pakistan win over India in a Asia Cup thriller.

IPL is not only for Indian cricketers, we have seen many talents of other countries coming up via IPL and now are a regular member of their national team. And with the inclusion of players from Pakistan, It would be much more exciting and thrilling.
