Could anyone bring back the smile in the Emirates Stadium for Arsenal…???

Arsenal football club is one of those clubs which has one of the biggest and the most passionate fan following from all across the world. Even with this large fan base the club has not been successful in winning or in that case maintaining the consistency in their performance recently. The club won its last trophy way back in the year 2005. From then on the team has not been successful in winning any other trophy. If you look at the squad of Arsenal it is always filled with stars. Lately people like Persie, Fabregas, Nasri who were once the core members have moved out of Arsenal which has left a huge dent in the line-up which has resulted in difficult times for the club. Currently the team is in building stage with the inclusion of new young players.

Fans all across the world have huge expectation every time when gunners go on the field. These expectations are mainly because of the world class games and performances Arsenal has been able to produce in the past. So in order to maintain the same faith of the fans towards the club it’s again the performance of the team which could do it. It’s the current players themselves who should pull up their sleeves and start performing. Unless and until they start performing nothing else can save them. If you look at the current squad it has a mix of young talent along with the experienced bunch. It’s important for arsenal to pick and choose the correct combination of the team which is world class and capable of winning against top teams of the world on a given day. The current squad has quality players like Aaron Ramsey who is in brilliant form this season. Alongside him there are quality strikers like Theo Walcott, Olivier Giroud, Lukas Podolski who can create a chances and score a goal on any occasion alongside him. Also with such a good attack there are world class midfielder’s in Jack Wilshere, Tomáš Rosický, Santi Cazorla, and Serge Gnabry whom complements the forward. With the inclusion of Mezut Ozil, the mid field looks more complete now. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlainare is a young talent who has been a surprize package for this season. The back line is also decent with Bacary Sagna, Per Mertesacker, Laurent Koscielny, Thomas Vermaelen. It’s now time for the team to perform. With these bunch of players currently Arsenal has one of the best team in the league. With the important inputs of Wenger the gunners are expected to play to their potential and come up with decent performances.

Currently Arsenal are in second position in the league. But still if you see the performance it’s not consistent. Even though Arsenal has been successful in including quality players to this squad it’s not able to make a difference when it’s required. The team is young and it has a lot to achieve in the near future. With the guidance of Arsene Wenger, Arsenal has been able to create a record in the past of being unbeaten in an entire season which even today stands strong in the English Premier league. We just need to wait and watch whether the same old Gunners will re-emerge in the near future.
