THE FUTURE OF EUROPEAN FOOTBALL

THE FUTURE OF EUROPEAN FOOTBALL

Every football fan around the world needs to know, “who is the next Messi or Ronaldo” and the vast media gossips and rumors around football keep coming up with “He is the next Messi or Ronaldo”.Let’s have an insight about some of the best talents in Europe who could well be the next big thing in European football. This list contains players who are 20 or fewer in age and who hail from Europe.

• Julian Draxler, Schalke (20)
Draxler became Bundesliga’s fourth youngest debutant in 2011, and has built a towering reputation at club and international level ever since. His amazing skills have been drawing scouts from across Europe, and have sent his valuation soaring towards £40m. All the big guns of BPL are in a race to sign the promising youngster.
• Romelu Lukaku, Chelsea (20)
Two and a-half years since Chelsea forked out £17m to bring the then 18-year-old from Anderlecht to Chelsea, the striker has developed into one of the most feared in the Premier League, even though José Mourinho remains curiously unconvinced. The Belgian striker has already scored 18 goals this season and has helped his on-loan club Everton to stay in the race for a Champions league spot.
• Adnan Januzaj, Man U(18)
This young lad has perhaps been the only bright spot for Manchester United this season around. Most of the fans would be trying to forget this season and move on, but this lad has made a huge impact on the game.  Gary Neville said: "I’ve played at United and you’re very conscious of adding too much pressure to young players. However, I genuinely think this guy could be one of the best in the world. I think he’s that talented." Team-mate Darren Fletcher, meanwhile, feels Januzaj is as good now as Cristiano Ronaldo was at 18. "He is up there with some of the best players I have seen. He’s a great kid, there’s no ego. He wants to learn."
• Gerard Deulofeu, Barcelona(19)
Tagged as a wonderkid, Deulofeu signed a Nike advertising deal while he was a 14-year-old Barça youth academy player. He made eye-catching Premier League contributions for Everton last year before injuring his hamstring in December. Roberto Martínez, who was present for his debut against Real Mallorca in 2012, said Deulofeu had been a target for a long time and added on "He stood out. From that point on I followed him."
• Raheem Sterling, Liverpool (19)
The wonder kid of Liverpool FC has been a sensation this season and has scored 7 goals and 5 assists which has helped the club’s cause to a great extent. He made his senior debut for England at the age of 17, starting in a friendly away to Sweden. On 5 March 2014, Sterling earned his second cap and was named man of the match as England beat Denmark 1–0 in a friendly match at Wembley Stadium.
• Luke Shaw, Southampton(18)
He might be the only defender in the list but he has already proved to world what he is capable off. Solid defensively and relentlessly enterprising going forward, he seems certain to become a regular for England and for a Champions League club. Last week’s boardroom upheaval at Southampton only added to the speculation about an early move, with Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City among the sides linked with £20m bids this month.

These 6 players have all the takings to be the best in the world and challenge the best. Everything depends on how these lads handle the pressure and the nerves at the big stage. They should stay focused with their feet planted on the ground and stay away from all the money and glamour that football offers. Hope all of you feature in the Hall of Fame of 21st century. All the best folks!!!
