SRH Vs KXIP : Will it be another Max-Miller Show ?

IPL 7 is just more than half way through, and we can announce three probable teams extremely easily. Kings XI Punjab, Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals. Phew! My mind just wanders off thinking of the year in which Chennai Super Kings have not qualified for the playoffs. Even Rajasthan Royals have been qualifying regularly from past few years. But this year the team which has amazed one and all is KINGS XI PUNJAB. They were the table toppers this year until yesterday when CSK won against RR. But they have played one match less.
KXIP next takes on SunRisers Hyderabad in a double header. SunRisers being the newest franchise in the IPL, have not played up to their potential. They have been patchy since the start of this year. They were touted to have had one of the most ferocious top order in Shikhar Dhawan, Aaron Finch and David Warner. And a very genuine fast bowling unit in Dale Steyn, Bhuvnesh Kumar, Ishant Sharma, Darren Sammy and Irfan Pathan. But still both the departments have not yet worked in tandem. Some day it’s the batsmen who have done well but their bowling department has disappointed and vice a versa. They also need to bring back their batsman in form, Warner, to open the batting with Finch. Remember, both batsmen open the batting for their national side. Only Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the purple cap owner right now has shown promise in every match. He has continuously picked up wickets. But his partners haven’t responded to his efforts. Steyn has looked out of sorts and Amit Mishra has lost confidence since his beating from Maxwell. Well, he will again have to face Maxwell test this time. But will it really be a Max-Miller show again this time?
If we analyze KXIP`s Batting, not many might have noticed that Virender Sehwag has got them to a flying start in almost every match. He has scored many 30+ scores and a brilliant 72 against the Kolkata KnightRiders which they eventually lost thanks to a brilliant innings while chasing by his dear friend Gambhir. It will be interesting to see Max-Miller`s approach once they lose their top order very cheaply. This situation is certainly possible if SRH fast bowlers show their class.
Maxwell has been the wonder boy this IPL but he has not scored much from the past two matches. Lets hope he entertains everyone once again.
