Germany vs Portugal: Can Cristiano Ronaldo and co. contain the German juggernaut?

37 goals in only 11 matches. This has been a goal-laden World Cup and tonight’s blockbuster meeting between two European heavyweights Germany and Portugal promises to be another high scoring affair. Both the losing semi-finalists of the Euro 2012 will not leave any stone unturned to start off the tournament in the best possible way: that is to win the game.

After Lionel Messi’s brilliant goal last night against Bosnia, it is time for Cristiano Ronaldo to show his credentials as one of the two best players on the planet.
